Pure, Nutrient-Rich Sesame Seeds Sourced for Quality and Freshness

Sesame Seeds

Sesame seeds are among the most widely cultivated and valued oilseeds worldwide. Known for their high-quality oil and rich nutritional profile, they contain around 22% protein, which is why they are often referred to as the queen of oil crops.

In Pakistan, sesame is grown across nearly 65 districts under both irrigated and rain-fed conditions, including regions in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and Balochistan. It is cultivated in both summer and winter seasons, with the ideal sowing period ranging from mid-June to mid-July. The recommended seed rate is 1.5 to 2 kg per acre.

Sesame seeds are highly valued for their oil content, which typically ranges between 50% and 58%. The oil is rich in healthy fatty acids, containing approximately 47% oleic acid and 39% linoleic acid, making it beneficial for both nutritional and industrial uses.
