Open Pot Method

  • Bring a pot of water (2 ½ times the amount of rice) to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of oil and stir.
  • Add the soaked rice and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the flame.
  • Cover the pot with a lid and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Fork the rice and serve hot.
